“The moment you wish to become a tenant in one of our apartments, we provide your data to Economic Data Resources B.V. (EDR). EDR will provide advice on your creditworthiness based on this information. EDR uses your data to investigate your creditworthiness and contact details. If you want to read more information about the use of your personal data by EDR, see: https://www.edrcreditservices.nl/privacy-statement/.

On our website you will find a large part what is currently available in The Hague. We make a selection from the offers and help you find the right suitable home. Our procedures are clear and simple:

fase 1

Registration via the website (costs are € 28.-,  which will be refunded with signing a contract). After registration we keep you informed by daily or weekly mail about the houses and apartments  that are available and to become available.

fase 2

Only candidates who are registered with Immovita can request viewings through a personal account on our website to schedule an appointment for you to visit the property. We always try to do this with you personally instead of a group visit. 90% of the appointments are personal visits with one client at the time. However there are exceptions when for example the current tenant has limited availability to let us visit.

fase 3

if you want to rent the property offered and want Immovita to contact the landlord we will send you an application form. On this form you find a list of documents we need from you such as copy passport,  income data (contract and salary slips), landlord statement (from current landlord) and a print screen or proof of payment of the salary payment to your account  and, if applicable a undersigned guarantee form (in case you are a student with support from family). Examples of these documents are available in PDF form and can be downloaded from our website.

fase 4

We select and complete your data into a file and send it to the landlord for approval. It is up to the landlord to accept you as a tenant. Immovita will make every effort  to make it possible for you to rent the property. Starting point, however, is you must have an up to date  ID, residence permit (if applicable) and have a regular income of at least 2.5 times the total rental price (inc). Obviously there are exceptions if you are for example studying (a guarantor).

fase 5

Immovita has permission from the landlord to rent the property for you. The tenancy agreement is made by Immovita and the invoice will be sent to you on forehand together with the concept tenancy agreement. The invoice will contain (unless agreed otherwise) : the first month’s rent and one month deposit. You will be invited to the office to sign the tenancy agreementRent and security deposit must be received  on Immovita’s account before the actual check in. The first month rent  and deposit will be  transferred by us  to the account of the landlord after a successful check in (we  work on the tenants behalf ).

fase 6

Together with you as the new tenant we schedule an appointment on which the house is inspected and photographed. The meter readings of gas water and electricity are documented  and, if desired, we can help you with the transfer of gas light water internet and TV. Obviously no extra charges for this! We remain  involved with the tenant and shall remain so throughout the term of the contract, we can be contacted for all matters requiring attention!
